About the Author
Susan
Whalley, founder of Concord-Carlisle College Counseling™ and
Counselor's Toolbox™ has eased students and their parents through the
college search and application process for over 30 years. As the
college counselor for a local high school Susan is in daily contact
with college admissions officers and has up-to-date knowledge about
admissions trends, policies and issues affecting students.
After
earning her Masters of Education in Counseling from Boston College,
Susan became certified as a School Guidance Counselor and a Vocational
Counselor by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is also a member of
the National Association of College Admissions Counselors and the
American School Counselors Association. She has been a featured
presenter for groups at Kaplan Test Prep, Fitchburg State College,
Middlesex Community College, the Massachusetts School Counselor’s
Association and the Coalition of Essential Schools Fall Forum. She is
also a school-based consultant for the Massachusetts Educational Finance Authority, a non-profit state approved group that specializes in advising those looking for educational funding.
